Crossing between ethnography, psycho-geographic essay and instructional poetry, this work of written word seeks to both situate the chalk that is present in the room, while also asking us to consider the broader social, cultural and historical implications of the chalk that exists in England as a material of border, whiteness, deterrent and, ultimately, political projects of projection.
